Company intelligence / Profile preview
NanoGuardian was a life sciences technology company that provided advanced brand protection and authentication solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. As a division of NanoInk, the company utilized proprietary Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN) to implement "NanoEncryption" directly onto solid-dose medications, such as tablets and capsules. This technology enabled pharmaceutical manufacturers to authenticate products at the dosage level and track them throughout the global supply chain. By providing a multi-layered security approach, NanoGuardian aimed to combat the rising threat of counterfeit, illegal, and diverted medicines. The company ceased operations following the closure of its parent company, NanoInk, in 2013.
