Company intelligence / Profile preview
NanoPin Technologies has developed a proprietary diagnostic platform using antibody-conjugated nanoparticles to enrich disease-specific peptides from patient serum followed by high-sensitivity mass spectrometry. This approach enables rapid and accurate diagnosis of active tuberculosis—including in children and immunocompromised patients—and can be adapted to detect other infections such as HIV and COVID‑19. The technology has demonstrated superior accuracy compared to traditional methods in published studies, especially in challenging populations like infants. A CLIA lab test for TB diagnosis has been launched; a multiplexed TB+HIV assay was announced in early 2024.
