NanoVelos is a Polish biotechnology company focused on developing innovative drug delivery systems using proprietary carbohydrate-based nanoparticles. The company's technology platform is designed to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs, particularly chemotherapeutic agents, to improve their pharmacokinetic profiles and targeted delivery to cancerous tissues. By utilizing the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect, the platform aims to increase drug concentration at the tumor site while reducing systemic exposure and toxicity.
