Nantah Education and Research Foundation

Nantah Education and Research Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Malaysia, established in 1998 by alumni of the former Nanyang University (Nantah). The foundation is dedicated to preserving the university's heritage and supporting academic research and educational initiatives across Southeast Asia. While it operates as a general research foundation, it has a significant focus on scientific and technological innovation, often collaborating with biotechnology firms and academic institutions. The foundation's Research Committee, which includes prominent scientists like molecular biologist Prof. Dato Liew Choong Chin, has been instrumental in promoting life science research and hosting international medical and biotech conferences. It is registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee and remains an influential entity within the global Nantah alumni network.
