Overview
NatImmune A/S was a Danish biotech company focused on developing therapeutic proteins for immune deficiencies. Its lead product, recombinant human Mannan-Binding Lectin (rhMBL), aimed to prevent severe infections in immunocompromised patients. The global rights to this product were licensed to Enzon Pharmaceuticals in 2005. Clinical development reached Phase Ib but was discontinued by Enzon in 2009 after failing to meet efficacy criteria.
