National Kidney and Transplant Institute

The National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) is a tertiary medical specialty center and a government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC) located in Quezon City, Philippines. Established in 1981, it serves as the country's lead agency for the prevention and treatment of kidney and allied diseases, as well as a premier center for organ transplantation in Southeast Asia. NKTI provides a comprehensive range of services including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and complex organ transplants such as kidney, liver, pancreas, and stem cell procedures. The institute is also a major hub for medical research and specialized training in nephrology, urology, and transplant surgery, operating as the national referral center for renal health.
