Company intelligence / Profile preview
National MedTrans was a U.S. healthcare services company focused on non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) benefit management for managed care organizations and government payers. The company coordinated transportation access for patients needing rides to healthcare appointments and related medical services, and also offered claims administration and quality-improvement support. It operated as a service/business-process provider rather than a drug-development biotech or pharmaceutical company. In May 2020, LogistiCare acquired National MedTrans in a transaction reported at $80 million. Following the acquisition, National MedTrans appears to have been absorbed into the acquirer’s operations rather than continuing as an independent standalone company.
