National Scientific Oncology Center

National Scientific Oncology Center is a Kazakhstan-based oncology hospital and research center in Astana focused on cancer diagnosis, treatment, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, proton therapy, and translational research. The institution operates as an active healthcare provider rather than a venture-backed drug-development biotech company, and its services include outpatient and inpatient oncology care, radiology, radionuclide diagnostics and therapy, bone marrow transplantation, and educational programs. The center was created as a national flagship oncology complex and opened its new major facility in April 2025. It is equipped with advanced systems for proton therapy, PET imaging, radiation therapy, and cyclotron-based radiopharmaceutical production, positioning it as a major cancer care hub for Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
