Company intelligence / Profile preview
National Sleep Technologies (NST) was a leading provider of sleep diagnostic services and sleep center management in the United States. Founded in 1997, the company specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing, including obstructive sleep apnea, through its extensive network of sleep laboratories. NST partnered with hospitals and physician groups to provide turnkey sleep center solutions, including staffing, equipment, and clinical oversight. The company's services were centered around polysomnography and other advanced diagnostic testing modalities. In 2006, NST was acquired by SleepMed, a move that consolidated two of the largest players in the sleep medicine industry. This acquisition allowed for a broader geographic reach and a more comprehensive suite of sleep-related healthcare services.
