The National Vaccine Plant (Nemzeti Oltóanyaggyár) is a state-owned pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Debrecen, Hungary. Established by the Hungarian government in 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the plant is designed to ensure national self-sufficiency in vaccine production and serve as a regional manufacturing hub. The facility is equipped to produce a variety of vaccines, including a Hungarian-developed COVID-19 vaccine and licensed products such as China's Sinopharm and Russia's Sputnik V. It operates in close collaboration with the University of Debrecen and is a key component of Hungary's long-term health industry strategy.
