NDDO Oncology

NDDO Oncology was a specialized oncology contract research organization (CRO) and drug development company based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Originally established in 1984 as the New Drug Development Office (NDDO) of the EORTC, it transitioned into an independent commercial entity, NDDO Oncology BV, in 1999. The company focused on the preclinical and early clinical development of novel anticancer agents, providing expertise in regulatory affairs, clinical trial management, and drug positioning. Its portfolio included significant contributions to the development of drugs such as apaziquone, trabectedin, and glufosfamide. In December 2005, NDDO Oncology was acquired by INC Research (now part of Syneos Health) to serve as its global oncology center of excellence.
