Nearmedic

Nearmedic is a prominent Russian healthcare company founded in 1989 by scientists from the Gamaleya Research Institute. The company operates across three main sectors: pharmaceutical manufacturing, diagnostic test system development, and a network of private medical clinics. Its flagship product is the antiviral drug Kagocel, which is a market leader in Russia for the treatment and prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. Nearmedic also produces Kollost, a patented collagen material used in surgery and cosmetology for tissue regeneration, and maintains a significant presence in the infectious disease diagnostics market. Following a period of financial restructuring, the company was acquired by Nova Medical Health in 2022.
