NeoChord’s DS1000 transapical artificial chordae delivery system is commercially available in Europe and has been used to place over 5,000 neochordae in more than 2,000 patients. The NeXus transseptal system is currently undergoing feasibility clinical trials. Clinical results indicate that these minimally invasive procedures can restore normal mitral valve function with reduced invasiveness compared to traditional surgery.
