Neomed Biologics and Vaccines Centre of Excellence

NEOMED Institute was a Canadian non-profit R&D hub and accelerator designed to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial drug discovery. Based in Montreal, the institute provided state-of-the-art infrastructure and expertise, including the Biologics and Vaccines Centre of Excellence, to advance high-potential therapeutic projects toward clinical proof-of-concept. It operated through a public-private partnership model, receiving significant support from the Government of Quebec and major pharmaceutical companies like GSK and AstraZeneca. In 2019, NEOMED merged with the Center for Drug Research and Development (CDRD) to form adMare BioInnovations, which now manages its legacy assets and facilities.
