Nestor Healthcare Group was a prominent United Kingdom-based provider of specialist staffing and homecare services within the healthcare and social care sectors. The company operated primarily through its subsidiary, Allied Healthcare, which was one of the UK's largest domiciliary care providers. Its service portfolio included nursing care, home-based support for the elderly, and primary care staffing for the National Health Service (NHS). Nestor also provided out-of-hours medical services and specialized healthcare personnel to various clinical settings. In 2011, the company was acquired by Saga plc for approximately £122 million to expand Saga's footprint in the aging population services market. Following the acquisition, the group's operations were integrated and later underwent further restructuring under different ownership.
