Company intelligence / Profile preview
NetRegulus was a provider of enterprise quality and regulatory data management software solutions specifically designed for the life sciences industry, including medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies. Founded in 1999 and based in Chicago, the company developed the NetRegulus v6 platform, which offered a 21 CFR Part 11-compliant system for managing critical regulatory processes. Its software suite included modules for complaint handling, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), clinical trial data management, and adverse event tracking. The company was backed by investors such as Baird Capital and BPOC before being acquired by Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) in May 2007. Following the acquisition, NetRegulus's technology was integrated into PTC's Windchill product lifecycle management (PLM) suite to enhance its offerings for the highly regulated healthcare market.
