Neupulse has developed a wearable wrist device that delivers on-demand median nerve stimulation to reduce tics in people with Tourette syndrome. In a UK-wide double-blind sham-controlled clinical trial, active stimulation led to an average reduction of more than 25% in tic frequency during use and over a month resulted in more than a 35% reduction in tic severity. About 59% of users experienced at least a 25% reduction compared to baseline. The company aims for initial commercial launch in the UK by 2026 following regulatory approval, with plans for global expansion thereafter.
