Neuregen Therapeutics

Neuregen Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotech company based in China developing first-in-class gene therapies for aggressive cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. Its lead candidate, NRG-103, is the world's first in situ trans-differentiation therapy for glioblastoma and recently received FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) clearance. NRG-103 employs a dual mechanism: an oncolytic virus vector that selectively kills tumor cells and delivers trans-differentiation factors to convert residual cancer cells into non-proliferative cells, aiming to address tumor recurrence. The drug previously received FDA Orphan Drug Designation. Preclinical and investigator-initiated trial data in China have shown encouraging safety and efficacy, supporting advancement toward formal clinical trials. Neuregen also has preclinical programs targeting retinal dystrophies.
