Neurologique was a non-profit biotechnology organization based in Seattle, Washington, dedicated to the discovery and development of biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. The foundation primarily focused on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease, utilizing advanced proteomic profiling to identify objective measures of disease presence and progression. Their core technology involved "molecular fingerprinting" of cerebrospinal fluid to detect specific protein signatures, such as TDP-43 and Cystatin C. Neurologique aimed to bridge the gap between academic research and clinical application by providing tools for earlier diagnosis and more efficient patient stratification in clinical trials.
