NeuroMetrix develops and commercializes non-invasive medical devices for diagnosing and treating chronic pain and neurological disorders. Its main product, Quell®, is an FDA-authorized prescription wearable nerve stimulator for fibromyalgia and chronic pain that has demonstrated improvements in quality of life in clinical studies. The company also developed DPNCheck®, a hand-held diagnostic tool for diabetic peripheral neuropathy; this business line will be divested prior to the completion of its acquisition by electroCore.
