NeuroSearch

NeuroSearch was a Danish biotechnology company specializing in the discovery and development of pharmaceuticals targeting central nervous system disorders. Its most advanced programs included pridopidine for Huntington’s disease and tesofensine for obesity. Both reached late-stage clinical trials but failed to achieve regulatory approval or commercial success. The company discontinued R&D activities in 2012 due to lack of funding, sold its main assets to other companies, spun out some projects into new ventures like Acesion Pharma, and was ultimately acquired by NTG Nordic Transport Group A/S. As such, it is no longer an active player in the life sciences sector.
