NeuroVasx is a medical device company specializing in the development of minimally invasive technologies for treating hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes. The company's flagship product, the cPAX Aneurysm Treatment System, is a unique polymeric embolization strand designed to treat large, giant, and wide-neck cerebral aneurysms. Unlike traditional platinum coils, the cPAX system uses a soft polymeric material that allows for more complete filling of the aneurysm and provides better long-term stability. The device is delivered via microcatheter and offers physicians the flexibility to detach the strand at any point during the procedure. Originally founded in 1997, the company was acquired and refounded in 2014 by Steve Ferry to continue its mission of improving neurovascular outcomes.
