Nevada Cancer Institute

Nevada Cancer Institute (NVCI) was a non-profit cancer treatment and research center located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded in 2002, it served as the official cancer institute of the state of Nevada, providing advanced clinical care, conducting early-phase clinical trials, and performing translational research. The institute was designed to bring high-level oncological expertise and genomic research to the region, reducing the need for patients to travel out of state for care. Following significant financial difficulties, the institute filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2011. Its clinical operations were subsequently acquired by UC San Diego Health in 2012, while its research facilities were later integrated into Roseman University of Health Sciences.
