New England Molders

New England Molders was a custom plastic injection molding company based in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, that specialized in manufacturing high-precision components for the medical, electronic, and industrial sectors. In May 2004, the company was acquired by Micron Products, a subsidiary of Micron Solutions (formerly Arrhythmia Research Technology), for approximately $1.5 million to vertically integrate its custom molding expertise with Micron's medical sensor product lines. Following the acquisition, New England Molders' operations were consolidated into Micron's Fitchburg facility, where its capabilities were leveraged to produce silver/silver chloride sensors and other consumable components for ECG, EKG, and EEG monitoring. The company served as a strategic contract manufacturing partner for medical OEMs, providing specialized cleanroom molding and assembly services.
