Company intelligence / Profile preview
New Imaging Technologies is a France-based imaging hardware company that designs and manufactures short-wave infrared (SWIR) cameras, InGaAs image sensors, and related software. Founded in 2007 as a spin-off from a French telecommunications research organization, the company evolved from CMOS visible imaging into a vertically integrated SWIR specialist with in-house capabilities spanning sensor design, hybridization, camera electronics, and software. Its products are used in industrial inspection, scientific imaging, defense, spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging, and selected medical and life-science imaging workflows rather than drug development or therapeutics. In October 2024, the company was acquired by Lynred and now operates as Lynred's SWIR product unit while continuing to market products under the NIT brand.
