New Jersey Perinatal Collaborative

The New Jersey Perinatal Quality Collaborative (NJPQC) is a statewide healthcare initiative led by the New Jersey Hospital Association's Health Research and Educational Trust (HRETNJ). It functions as a network of clinical teams, hospitals, and public health leaders dedicated to improving maternal and infant health outcomes through evidence-based quality improvement strategies. The collaborative focuses on critical issues such as reducing unnecessary Cesarean sections, managing maternal hemorrhage and hypertension, and eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in care. By partnering with the CDC and the NJ Department of Health, the NJPQC provides a platform for data-driven interventions and professional education to enhance the safety and quality of perinatal care across New Jersey.
