New Mexico Heart Institute

New Mexico Heart Institute is a cardiovascular care provider and physician practice in New Mexico focused on preventive, diagnostic, interventional, surgical, and rehabilitation services for heart and vascular conditions. The organization has been described as the largest private cardiology practice in the state and delivers care in multiple New Mexico communities. Its services include cardiovascular imaging, interventional cardiology, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery, electrophysiology, and cardiac rehabilitation, often coordinated with the Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center. New Mexico Heart Institute was acquired by Lovelace Health System in November 2018 and continues to operate under the NMHI name within the Lovelace network.
