New York Blood Center Enterprises

New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe) is a premier nonprofit organization and one of the largest independent, community-based blood centers in the United States. It provides life-saving blood products and clinical services to over 600 hospitals, while also operating the Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute, a world-class center for hematology and transfusion medicine research. Through its Comprehensive Cell Solutions (CCS) division, NYBCe functions as a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in cell and gene therapy. The organization is also home to the National Cord Blood Program, which developed HEMACORD, the first FDA-licensed hematopoietic stem cell product. NYBCe's integrated model combines large-scale blood operations with advanced biotechnological research and manufacturing to advance regenerative medicine and public health.
