New York Proton Center

The New York Proton Center (NYPC) is a premier radiation oncology facility located in East Harlem, Manhattan, providing advanced proton beam therapy to patients with complex tumors. As the first proton center in New York State, it operates as a unique consortium between three leading healthcare institutions: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Montefiore Health System, and Mount Sinai Health System. The center utilizes cutting-edge Intensity-Modulated Proton Therapy (IMPT) with pencil-beam scanning to deliver highly precise radiation that minimizes damage to surrounding healthy tissue. NYPC is also a hub for clinical research, participating in numerous trials to advance the standard of care in radiation oncology. The facility features three treatment rooms equipped with 360-degree gantries and a dedicated research room.
