Nexeption Therapeutics

NeXeption was a private U.S.-based biopharmaceutical management and company-building organization that identified product opportunities, assembled management teams, raised capital, and advanced therapeutic programs to partnership or value-inflection milestones. The organization operated more like a life sciences incubator than a single-product biotech, using a shared operating model to form and support portfolio companies. Publicly available materials tie the name "Nexeption Therapeutics" to the earlier corporate name NeXeption Therapeutics, Inc., which was later renamed NeXeption, Inc., while NeXeption, LLC appears to have been the main operating entity. NeXeption helped launch companies such as Alexar Therapeutics and Velicept Therapeutics and was associated with investors including New Science Ventures, Third Point Ventures, and Palo Alto Investors. Current evidence indicates the original NeXeption operating company is no longer active, although the broader NeXeption brand has evolved into NeXeption Capital.
