Nextremity Solutions is a U.S. orthopedic medical device company focused on extremity musculoskeletal products, particularly foot and ankle implants and procedure-ready sterile systems. The company developed and commercialized indication-specific technologies for fractures, deformities, fusions, and other forefoot surgical applications in the lower and upper extremities. Its portfolio has included systems such as the Stratum Foot Plating System and Stratum Ankle Fusion Plating System, built around proprietary implant and instrumentation designs intended to improve surgical precision and workflow. Founded in Warsaw, Indiana, Nextremity built in-house R&D and manufacturing capabilities and operated as a strategic commercialization organization in orthopedics. In May 2022, the company was acquired by Medartis, which integrated Nextremity into its U.S. extremities business while retaining the Warsaw site as a manufacturing and R&D base.
