Company intelligence / Profile preview
Nielsen BioSciences currently markets FDA-approved biologics for delayed-type hypersensitivity testing (CANDIN for Candida albicans, SPHERUSOL for Valley Fever). Their leading clinical program is a Phase 3 trial of CANDIN for the treatment of common warts (Verruca vulgaris), an HPV-driven condition, in collaboration with Maruho in the U.S. and Japan. CANDIN is not yet approved for wart treatment. Multiple prior clinical studies have been conducted; key results from Phase 2 were positive, supporting progression to Phase 3[1][3][4][7][9].
