Company intelligence / Profile preview
The Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) is a development finance institution established in 1991 to promote the diversification of the Nigerian economy away from oil. It provides export credit facilities, risk management services, and trade information to businesses engaged in non-oil sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, and services. While not a life sciences company itself, NEXIM plays a role in the healthcare sector by providing specialized funding and credit guarantees to Nigerian pharmaceutical companies to support the local production and export of medicines. The bank is jointly owned by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Ministry of Finance Incorporated.
