The China-Nigeria Traditional Chinese Medicine Center is a specialized healthcare and distribution facility located at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH) in Gwagwalada, Nigeria. Established in 2020 through a bilateral agreement between the governments of China and Nigeria, the center serves as the official national hub for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services and the distribution of TCM products in the country. It offers a variety of clinical treatments, including acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine, and is involved in the training of local healthcare professionals to integrate TCM into the Nigerian medical system. The center is a key project under the Belt and Road Initiative, aimed at enhancing health cooperation and providing regulated access to Chinese medicinal therapies in West Africa.
