NimbleGen was a leading genomics technology company specializing in the manufacture of high-density DNA microarrays and consumables for gene expression, cytogenetics, and epigenetics research. The company's proprietary Maskless Array Synthesis (MAS) technology utilized digital light processing to synthesize long-oligonucleotide probes directly on glass slides, providing unmatched flexibility and probe density. Following its acquisition by Roche in 2007, the brand became a cornerstone of Roche's genomics portfolio, particularly through its SeqCap EZ products for next-generation sequencing (NGS) target enrichment.
