Founded in 2000 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, the company specialized in complete data entry, validation, and export of electronic clinical data. Its technology was designed to comply with the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) Operational Data Model (ODM) structure. Ninaza's solutions were utilized by pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations (CROs) to streamline data management in clinical trials. In April 2007, the company was acquired by Octagon Research Solutions, which was later acquired by Accenture.
