Overview
NinePoint Medical developed and commercialized the NvisionVLE Imaging System—a next-generation OCT-based endoscopic imaging platform that enables real-time volumetric visualization up to several millimeters beneath mucosal surfaces. The system received multiple FDA clearances for GI tract indications including Barrett’s esophagus surveillance and pancreatico-biliary evaluation. Clinical trials demonstrated improved detection of dysplasia in Barrett’s esophagus using this technology. The company also launched an AI-powered image segmentation tool (“IRIS”) to assist clinicians in interpreting images.
