Nisshin Kyorin Pharmaceutical was a Japanese pharmaceutical company established in 2003 as a joint venture between Nisshin Seifun Group and Kyorin Pharmaceutical. The company specialized in the development and commercialization of prescription drugs, with a strategic focus on the therapeutic areas of gynecology and dermatology. Its most prominent product was Lunabell, a combination therapy for dysmenorrhea associated with endometriosis. In 2008, Kyorin Pharmaceutical acquired the remaining 50% stake from Nisshin Seifun to consolidate its domestic operations, and the entity was officially merged into Kyorin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2009.
