Overview

NMAC, formerly known as the National Minority AIDS Council, is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to developing leadership and advocacy within communities of color to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Founded in 1987, the organization focuses on public policy, treatment education, and capacity building for community-based organizations. NMAC is well-known for organizing the United States Conference on HIV/AIDS (USCHA), the largest HIV-related conference in the country.
