Nobilon International

Nobilon International was a biotechnology company focused on the development and manufacturing of human vaccines using modern cell-culture technologies. Originally established as a specialized unit within Organon BioSciences (a division of AkzoNobel), the company sought to replace traditional egg-based vaccine production with more scalable and rapid cell-culture methods. Its lead programs included seasonal and pandemic influenza vaccines, as well as candidates for respiratory syncytial virus and therapeutic applications. In 2007, Nobilon was acquired by Schering-Plough as part of the Organon BioSciences transaction, and it was subsequently integrated into Merck & Co. (MSD) following their 2009 merger.
