Company intelligence / Profile preview
Nonlinear Dynamics was a UK life science software company focused on bioinformatics tools for proteomics, metabolomics, genomics, and biomarker discovery. The company was best known for its Progenesis software family, which supported LC-MS and related omics data analysis, visualization, and quantification for research users. Its business model centered on scientific software rather than therapeutic product development, so it did not operate a drug pipeline in the traditional biotech sense. Nonlinear Dynamics was acquired by Waters in August 2013, and its technology and products became part of Waters' informatics and omics software portfolio. The company appears to have been dissolved as a standalone legal entity after the acquisition.
