North East Ambulance Service

North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) is an NHS Foundation Trust that provides emergency medical services, urgent care, and non-emergency patient transport across North East England. The Trust serves a population of approximately 2.7 million people across 2,300 square miles, including Tyne and Wear, County Durham, and Northumberland. NEAS is responsible for handling 999 emergency calls, providing clinical triage, and operating the NHS 111 service for the region. As a critical component of the UK's healthcare infrastructure, the organization focuses on pre-hospital care, emergency response, and community health integration. The Trust employs over 3,000 staff and operates from more than 50 stations across the region.
