Northwest MedStar was a leading critical care transport service providing air and ground medical evacuation across Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Headquartered in Spokane, Washington, the organization operated a sophisticated fleet of helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and specialized ambulances to transport critically ill or injured patients to regional trauma centers. Originally formed through the merger of MedStar and Northwest Air Ambulance in 1994, it operated as a non-profit service under Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS). In 2016, Northwest MedStar merged its operations into Life Flight Network, consolidating its resources to form one of the largest non-profit air medical programs in the United States.
