Novena Global Healthcare was a Singapore-based integrated healthcare and medical aesthetics company operating clinics and related consumer health services across Asia. The business focused on medical aesthetics, preventive healthcare, DNA testing, health screening, wellness products, and stem cell-related treatments rather than a traditional drug-development pipeline. It raised private equity funding from Sinopharm Capital and Cedarlake Capital in 2019 and pursued regional expansion and acquisitions. However, the company later ran into financial and legal difficulties, and Singapore's High Court granted a winding-up application in December 2020. As a result, the entity should be treated as inactive and in liquidation rather than as an operating biotech or pharmaceutical developer.
