Overview

Novus Diagnostics has developed SepTec, a rapid point-of-care diagnostic platform that can diagnose and classify bloodstream infections—including sepsis—at the bedside within 15 minutes. The technology uses patented microfluidic electrochemical sensors and advanced algorithms to enable immediate targeted therapy. The product has been validated in a ~200 patient study but is not yet commercially available.
