NRE Educacional

NRE Educacional was a Brazilian for-profit medical education group focused on higher education, especially undergraduate medical training. The company operated a network of medical schools and other health-focused educational institutions in Brazil, and was described as one of the country\u2019s largest groups specialized in medicine education. In 2019, NRE Educacional combined with Medcel, a provider of medical residency preparatory courses, to form Afya Educacional. As a result, NRE Educacional does not appear to operate today as an independent standalone company, but rather as a predecessor entity within the Afya group. It is healthcare-related through medical education, but it is not a biotech, pharma, drug-development, or therapeutics company.
