NuCara Management Group

NuCara Management Group is a healthcare-based company that operates a network of community pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, long-term care pharmacies, and home medical equipment (HME) retail sites. Founded in Conrad, Iowa, the company grew to manage over 30 full-service pharmacies across Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Illinois, and Texas. NuCara provides services such as compounding, infusion therapy, medication therapy management, and home medical equipment. In April 2026, following financial difficulties and a lawsuit by the State of Iowa over a state-contracted HIV treatment program, OneroRx acquired 14 NuCara Pharmacy locations, 10 Home Medical Equipment stores, and two long-term care pharmacies, rebranding them under the Medicap Pharmacy brand.
