Royal Numico was a prominent Dutch multinational corporation specializing in baby food and clinical nutrition. The company was a global leader in the specialized nutrition sector, managing a portfolio of iconic brands including Nutricia, Milupa, and Cow & Gate. Its operations were divided into two main segments: Infant Nutrition, providing formulas and weaning foods, and Clinical Nutrition, offering specialized products for patients with chronic diseases or specific dietary requirements. In 2007, Numico was acquired by Danone for approximately €12.3 billion, a move that transformed Danone into a world leader in healthy and medical nutrition. Today, Numico's legacy continues as the core of Danone's Specialized Nutrition division.
