Nutrada

Nutrada was a metabolic health company focused on developing functional food products designed to manage obesity and type 2 diabetes. The company utilized a proprietary technology platform to create nutritional formulations that stimulate the natural release of satiety hormones, such as GLP-1 and PYY, from the gut. Founded by former Eli Lilly scientist Dr. Mark Heiman, Nutrada aimed to bridge the gap between traditional nutrition and pharmaceutical intervention for metabolic disorders. Their lead product concept, Nutra-Ice, was a metabolic-friendly frozen dessert intended to provide therapeutic benefits through a consumer-friendly delivery format. Although the company was active in the mid-2010s, it appears to have ceased operations or transitioned into a different entity.
