Nutri Pharma is a Norwegian biotechnology company specializing in the development of soy-based bioactive compounds for the prevention and treatment of lifestyle-related diseases. Founded in 1993 by Dr. Lars Høie, the company gained international recognition for its proprietary Abacor technology, which utilizes specific soy protein and fiber fractions to manage cholesterol levels and improve metabolic health. The company's most prominent commercial success was the Nutrilett weight loss program, which became a market leader in Scandinavia before the brand was sold to Orkla in 2011.
